Air Fryer Apple Turnovers: 5 Reasons You’ll Love Them

Delicious and flaky apple turnovers made in an air fryer.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups of diced apples
  • 1/2 cup of sugar
  • 1 teaspoon of cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon of lemon juice
  • 1 package of puff pastry sheets
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix diced apples, sugar, cinnamon, and lemon juice.
  3. Roll out puff pastry sheets and cut into squares.
  4. Place a spoonful of the apple mixture in the center of each square.
  5. Fold the pastry over to form a triangle and seal the edges.
  6. Brush the tops with beaten egg.
  7. Place turnovers in the air fryer basket and cook for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
