Air fryer chicken tenders: 5 steps to crispy perfection

Crispy and juicy air fryer chicken tenders made easily at home.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb chicken breast, cut into strips
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In one bowl, mix flour, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  3. In another bowl, beat the eggs.
  4. In a third bowl, place the breadcrumbs.
  5. Dip each chicken strip in flour mixture, then egg, and finally in breadcrumbs.
  6. Place the coated chicken tenders in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
  7. Cook for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown.
  8. Remove and let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

  • Adjust seasoning to your taste.
  • For extra crunch, use panko breadcrumbs.
  • Serve with your favorite dipping sauce.
