Air Fryer Chocolate Lava Cake: 5 Steps to Decadent Bliss

Deliciously rich chocolate lava cake made in an air fryer.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup dark chocolate chips
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Melt chocolate chips and butter together in a bowl.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together flour, powdered sugar, egg, egg yolk, vanilla, and salt.
  4. Combine the melted chocolate mixture with the batter.
  5. Grease ramekins and pour batter into them.
  6. Place ramekins in the air fryer basket.
  7. Cook for 10-12 minutes until the edges are set, but the center is soft.
  8. Let cool for a minute, then invert onto plates.

Notes

  • Serve warm for the best lava effect.
  • Top with ice cream or whipped cream if desired.
