- 1 cup water
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup sugar (for coating)
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon (for coating)
Instructions
- Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- In a saucepan, combine water, 2 tablespoons sugar, and salt. Bring to a boil.
- Remove from heat and stir in flour until a dough forms.
- Add vegetable oil and vanilla extract, mix until smooth.
- Transfer dough to a piping bag with a star tip.
- Pipe churros onto parchment paper in desired lengths.
- Air fry for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown.
- Mix sugar and cinnamon in a bowl. Roll churros in the mixture.
- Serve warm with chocolate sauce or caramel.
Notes
- Make sure to not overcrowd the air fryer.
- Adjust cooking time based on your air fryer model.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container.
