Ingredients

  • 1 cup water
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup sugar (for coating)
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a saucepan, combine water, 2 tablespoons sugar, and salt.
  3. Bring to a boil, then remove from heat and stir in flour.
  4. Add vegetable oil and vanilla extract, mix until smooth.
  5. Transfer the mixture to a piping bag.
  6. Pipe churros into the air fryer basket in desired lengths.
  7. Air fry for 10-12 minutes until golden brown.
  8. Mix remaining sugar and cinnamon in a bowl.
  9. Coat churros in the sugar mixture after cooking.

Notes

  • Ensure the churros do not touch in the air fryer.
  • Experiment with different coatings if desired.
  • Serve with chocolate sauce for dipping.
