- 1 cup dried chickpeas, soaked overnight
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
- 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1 teaspoon coriander
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1 tablespoon flour
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
Instructions
- Drain and rinse the soaked chickpeas.
- In a food processor, combine chickpeas, onion, garlic, parsley, cilantro, cumin, coriander, salt, black pepper, cayenne pepper, and flour.
- Pulse until the mixture is coarse and well combined.
- Form the mixture into small balls or patties.
- Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- Brush the falafel with olive oil and place in the air fryer basket.
- Cook for 15 minutes, turning halfway through, until crispy and golden.
Notes
- Serve in wraps with your choice of vegetables and sauces.
- Can be made in advance and stored in the refrigerator.
