Ingredients

  • 4 chicken thighs
  • 4 chicken drumsticks
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • Cooking spray

Instructions

  1. Marinate chicken in buttermilk for at least 1 hour.
  2. Preheat air fryer to 360°F (182°C).
  3. In a bowl, mix flour, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper.
  4. Coat each piece of chicken in the flour mixture.
  5. Place chicken in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
  6. Spray lightly with cooking spray.
  7. Cook for 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  8. Check for internal temperature of 165°F (74°C) before serving.

Notes

  • For extra crunch, double-dip the chicken in buttermilk and flour.
